Hanu Ancutei – rustic-style inn
Hanu Ancutei is a fairytale place, a traditional rustic-style inn in Tirgu Neamt, where you can find authentic traditional Moldovan cuisine, and organic food, straight from the farms, with an incomparable taste.
The current building has been rebuilt in 1960.
In the past, the inn offered a place to stop for merchants traveling to Roman, Suceava, or Iasi.
In front of the inn, on the side of the national road, was placed the stone bust of the great storyteller Mihail Sadoveanu, who described in his work Hanul Ancutei.

Hanu Ancutei has 16 rooms. All rooms keep a picturesque atmosphere from Sadoveanu’s stories, which makes this inn a suitable stop for rest and relaxation.
All rooms are en-suite, have a special décor, and come with free WiFi, a mini-bar, and a TV.
