The closest airport to Lefkada is the small airport of Aktion/Preveza, about 30 min drive away. This airport works only in summer and does not receive flights from Athens. It receives only charters and low-cost flights from European airports
If you don’t have a car you can go from Athens to Lefkada with a Ktel bus. The distance between Athens and Lefkada is 378 km and it will take you around 5 hours to get there.

  • It belongs to the Eptanese group of islands along with Corfu, Zante, Kefalonia, Ithaca, Paxos and Kithyra

  • This island is quite wild.  Some of the beaches don’t have a bar or a restaurant where you can buy water or food.
