Széchenyi Chain Bridge

Széchenyi Bridge is a bridge with chains that connects Buda and Pest (the western and eastern sides of Budapest). The bridge crosses the Danube river.

The bridge is 375 m long.

You can walk across the bridge.

The bridge was destroyed in World War II and was reconstructed and reopened in 1949.

The legend has it that the lion’s statues have no tongues.
