Why is the Sinaia railway station important?

The first station (royal station) was built in 1913 it was reserved exclusively for the Royal Family and its guests.

Royal Station is a stone building in the Romanian style, located close to the main station and it was built according to the plans of the architect Duiliu Marcu in 1939.

Unfortunately, Royal Railway Station is not open to the public.

The building destination was preserved during the communist regime. A presidential train brought here American President Gerald Ford and Nicolae Ceausescu on August 6, 1975.
